White spot on face help please?

i noticed a couple months back a white dot that randomly appeared on my face. it looks like it has gotten a little bigger. it used to be the size of a pinpoint but now its half the size of an eraser on a pencil. i can feel it and it feels like a pimple but it wont pop. is it nothing to be worried about? should i go see a doctor? any opinions?
