According to them it isn't right 4 government to allow same-sex marriage because it's against their beliefs?

I agree with God is Good. The government cannot legislate all bad behavior. However, since government is a societal institution, it focuses mainly on societal issues. Behavior that harms the society is regulated. Greed is a frame of mind. Behaviors that satisfy greed are outlawed. Belief in S-S marriage can be classified as a frame of mind, but practicing it is harmful to society. Ergo.....
