I want to start babysitting in my home!?

I want to become a licensed daycare provider in Michigan. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or tips to help me. I'm not sure what to charge, I know how to get a license and take a CPR and first aid class. But I am wondering more on the actual babysitting. How should I advertise, and should I have a name? I also was told that the government would help? I heard that if I provided the food, I would be eligible for food stamps? Any suggestions would be helpful! Thank you.
