Recommended eraser for hard grip when writing?

I'm a person who loves drawing and writing, the only problem is that when I write, my pressure is hard on the paper so if I make a mistake, it's hard to erase! I tried writing more softer but I'm just not used to it and I might get smudges on the paper! Is there an eraser which I can erase without putting pressure on the paper too? Maybe the material should be soft? But not eraser dough, that's even more hard to use!
